The Biggest Part of The Game

The biggest part of the game in life and in cards is patience. Its easier said than done. In my game I try to mix it up early when the blinds are cheaper. Lets say you raise every pot up, you leave the table with the impression you are loose. You can switch it up by playing tighter or just calling in any position.

Image is everything in the game. Imagination and creativity is in every poker player arsenal. Mixing up your play is key in being unpredictable.

Going All-In Blind-by the Li3y3

I just learned this as a player in the game. Sometimes in life you have to go all in blind. See you in the shade

Chip Count-Getting info

In the game if you want to get info about a players hand you can

Ask a question that every player hates.

Whats Your chip count? Count them out?

If you do this it raises a question in the players mind that you may have a strong hand and that your opponent will possible put you all in.

Its a good tactic but you may if your young ask an older player this you might piss them off since they have age on you and they don't want to be shown up by a younger player

On the other hand you could possibly get them to go all in when you have the nuts

The Worst Bad Beat I Adminstered to a Beginner- The Complete Nuts

I went to a bar poker tournament named DDPL.NET. They host tournaments around the area of Kansas City. I signed up and played. This hot chick sits next to me, doesn't have a clue what she is doing. Everyone's helping her with her chips, telling her the rules. You know Bar Poker, the level of knowledge a player has there maybe slitch to advanced.

Let me get to my hand I had [J][10] of clubs, the hot chick was in the hand. The flop was [Aclubs][Qclubs][Q diamonds] turn was a [A]. I told everyone at the table im running to a good hand. Then on the motherfucking river was a King of Clubs for my Royal Flush she moved moved in, I had THE COMPLETE NUTS FUCKED A HOT BITCH AND I SUCKED OUT ON HER AND I BLEW MY LOAD LOL

Life as I know It

THE THIHG ABOUT LIFE IS ITS COMPLICATED TO A DEGREE AND IM QUITE FRANKLY SICK OF THE DAY N DAY OUT PROCESS OF LIVING, TRYING TO GRIND TO MAKE THAT NEXT DOLLAR FROM SOMEONE ELSES WALLET.

IM TIRED IM A 24 YEAR OLD WHO'S SEEN ALOT, DONE ALOT.

I'm retired from poker and i know why its to simple when your life is complicated you cant play, so i can't play.

My brother is gone, a great mechanic, a great person, he went to the army, and i miss him dearly.

Lo$t in the Gamble

This is how it all began. I started watching poker on T.V. and saw the W.S.O.P. 2003 on ESPN. I got hooked I watched the whole event. I even taped the world series to study the game.

Ok so this is what happened. I downloaded pokerstars and played with play chips because I wasn't old enough to play with real money. What I did was I watched the pro's play on the tables. I watched Andy Bloch is handle was Ace9ofClubs, even watched Chris MoneyMaker Money800 play, and I found Paul Darden St.Patrick who was taught by Phil Ivey the Greatest in the game today. Phil has racked up his 8th bracelet and you can look at his profile below.

Well i played with Paul Darden aka "The Truth" at pokerstars.com

I sat heads up with him and he went all in on the flop. I can't really remember the flop or what i had but I know he was making a move on me. So i said in the chat box

I'm going to lay this down out of respect

I eventually started taping the W.P.T. events and watched them over and over again. That year Gus Hansen a backgammon player started playing in 2003 and killed the competition with his aggressive, loose style of play that destroyed all the poker players in his field.

I even skipped school to read poker books. I remember going into homeroom and playing at partypoker. My friend John McGuin who is Blue belt in Gracie Ju-Jitsu. Me and his brother Tom and couple of other friends played home games all the time. I was a legend back in the day I won all the home games. I had a paul pierce celtics I wore and there is a story behind it. Since Paul Darden is the Truth I dubbed myself the Theli3y3. The jersey I wore all the time at the table and matching shades. What happened to the jersey is I gave it away to some homeless guy for some dumb reason I don't know why but i did.

By the way I'm from Norte Dame, In and I, at the time moved to Kansas City, MO. I traveled back to Indiana to my friend's apartment and everyone was stealing my money. So I looked in the closet to find a paul pierce kansas jersey and I stole it. My brother Micheal just recently had a baby and I gave the Jersey to him. Now I'm retired and I'm wearing 1984 jordan jersey because I retired from the game.

The Lie of the Day- 3 Greats in the Game

Never play a shitty hand against a pro you may win and get smacked in the face by "the Brat of Poker" Phil Hellmuth Jr.

I feel bad for Phil because he used to be the youngest poker player to win the W.S.O.P. but when Joe Cada won it at his age.  I think Phil was sitting back watching history unfold as his title was beaten by a youngster.  So Phil I will respect you at the table but I'm not laying down pocket aces because I think you have a JOKER. The video below is of Phil making a fit after losing to a bad player.

The dream is dead and ounce the dream is dead, about the lights, camera, action. Then the pot seems to grow more and more. The money comes in when your ready. A bracelet comes with prestige.  30 bracelets, well your going to have to give Phil Ivey and apple and I.V. because that player will be playing on his deathbed. He loves the game more than any player I know. He taught Paul Darden how to play. The video below is Paul Darden playing 7 card stud wsop 2001 event. Just check him out he's a real good stud and holdem player.

Phil Ivey can play any hand dealt to him and play them like they are monsters. His read on players is ridiculous, its like he knows what they are thinking, like he could steal their chips and their very soul if he wanted. I'm sure he's ruined many of bad poker players in long sessions of heads up play against him and taken their last dollar. He's the greatest in the game right a House Player who should always get a round of applause when he enters a card room. I'd have to say what hurt Phil Ivey the most was the W.S.O.P. 2003 where he got sucked out on my Chris Moneymaker, hitting a one-outer, Ace on the river to give Moneymaker Aces over Queens beating Phil's 9's over Queen's. I remember the look on Phil's face, its like he knew he was going to lose that hand. Well I'll just let you watch the video to see Phil's reaction, he didn't shake MoneyMaker's hand after losing because that was his chance to be one of the greats. He got 9th place if he would of one that pot he would of got 1st place and the rest would be history. Roll the video please..............

I feel ya Phil maybe next year 2011->30 bracelets keep your head up stay healthy

The Daily Lie/Sporting the Truth: A Poker Players Downfall- The Li3y3

The Daily Lie/Sporting the Truth: A Poker Players Downfall- The Li3y3: "I would like to talk about Casino's in general. CASINO'S 1.Want you to lose 2. Get you hooked so you keep losing 3. they want a few winner..."

A Poker Players Downfall- The Li3y3

I would like to talk about Casino's in general.

CASINO'S

1.Want you to lose
2. Get you hooked so you keep losing
3. they want a few winners to advertise for the losers
4. They don't give a shit about you

THE LI3Y3'S DOWNFALL IN POKER

This is what happened to me.  I met a dum bitch and all she did was drink and fucking play slots with her rich mom.  Hanging around through motherfucking game off like TILTING OFF THE EARTH AXIS.  I couldn't play straight but im sure I'd be at the slots with that dum blonde who through her money away.  YOU WIN YOU LOSE its just entertainment would she told me.  Bullshit I used to be a good poker player.

Recently I've been playing strach offs, lottery tickets, and slots the worst game ever.

IT WILL STEAL YOUR FUCKING SOUL, Drip every last dollar you have in the Casino.

NOW I'm losing poker player

Even online slots I play and lose.

I recently sold my truck for gambling money.  I went to the boat and through down 160 dollars at no limit holdem table i had 10-9 off the flop 71010.  The guy raises i ponder a raise but i dont want to scare him out of the pot so call about 25 dollars.  A (k) hits on the turn he i bet he just calls.  Another (k) hits and he raises i go all in he had the nut full house kings over 10's.  My analysis is i shouldn' t have gambled with money that wasn't a roll it was truck money.  The Poker God's look down on me now.  I think they saying you need to learn valuable lesson.  POKER GOD says, GET HELP!

I think Casino Games are rigged and I'm just gonna take long break from playing the game

7 2 Off-Suit and Other Bad hands Players Play

Look this is game is for people who know how to play cards.

This isnt the fucking Lottery or a slot money where you hit the jackpot 777$$$$$

Money doesnt grow on trees and Im sick of these players who think they KNOW THE GAME

The game is simple without a lot complexities that most ameuters can not handle when they are in a big event like the WSOP.

Fine, I dont got a bankroll but I sure as well know how to make moves and these shitty players that play 10-3 off suit when im raising preflop with KQ they hit a 10 and go all in like i got jackshit next time around I'm gonna have aces and im going to screw your skull, and ruin your life as poker player.

When I make it, I'll be sitting with the best in the world and all you fish need to go in another pond

Distractions

1.  Cell phones, phones in general, people that buzz you, that can be a big problem when you are playing online.
TURN THE GOD DAMN CELL PHONES...Telling people your chip counts and getting all excited about how far you are in tournament or how much you won at a cash table can very well mean your getting too greedy and boasting too much which will lead to your downfall....THE POKER GODS ARE WATCHING....SO TURN THE PHONES OFF

2.  Girls, are probably one the biggest distractions in online play...

I'll tell you a story about how girls can be a distraction.  I fell in love with a girl named Cassie and my dad's friend staked me 150 dollars at fulltiltpoker.com.  I was over at my girls place playing while i was drinking wine, having sex, and constantly being dragged in the other room for love time.  On top of that her internet connection was bad so i was losing half the tournaments i was playing.

Going off topic a little here...never play slots...my girl and her mom play slots all the time at the casino...and i started to play and i got addicted

See when you start going outside the box of poker you start viewing as a gamble and not as a skill.  So I started with my money rather than play the game.

2 be Continued> The Rise and Fall of a Maverick

My brother Micheal, always has a trick up his sleeve.  He told me a story one time where players at Harrah's were cheating and he figured them out.  He was holding AA in the hole and he laid it down in front of them all and they all were astonished at his play.  My brother was a true mechanic. He the mechanics of the game such as reading the players, if they are tired, or if they are drunk I'm gonna stick it to them on this hand and set the whole table up for failure.

Micheal was a true genius.  A genius at scams local business and restaurants into giving him his money on certain items he didn't pay for.  He would go into a movie's and dig in the trash to get an old popcorn bag and pop container and get a refill on both.  Like I said he went to the dark side of the deck and barely made it back.

My brother hopped from place to place.  He landed in Georgia with one his friends and was out one night.  Micheal met this african american, I forgot his name, I'll call him Kell.  Micheal was walking with him and he told him some information that he was going to kill someone.  My brother was listening to a hit man who didn't know when to stop talking about killing people.  So the hitman told my brother he was going smoke because he knew too much.  The hit man called my mother and acted like it was interview at T-mobile and asked for her social, of course was smart and didn't give out the info.  But Micheal put are whole family in jeopardy by talking to this hit man.  I remember he told me, he had his nike flights on, the guy walked away and Micheal booked it.  I think it was God that saved him and our family.

Untilted

It all started with everyone in 2003 watching from the television, when moneymaker won a long shot against a set of pros.  Thats when me and brother Micheal picked up the game in so many different ways.  As I taped every event on TV,  my brother in the shadows watched the movie "Shade".  While I was studying the game to be a better player, my brother on the other learned the dark side of the deck.

My brother just to let you has been cheating his whole life.  One time I remember when we were in elementary school, it was track & field day and my brother Micheal brought cleats so he can run faster than the kids.  It worked I'll give him that.  He cheated through high school and it seemed like he got whatever he wanted girls, money, whatever.  I would like to dive head first into telling about the story of Micheal Sebastian, The legacy, The downfall of a Great Mechanic and Poker Player of our time.

It all started with him watching the movie "Shade" and "Rounders" Me and Michael were Rounders we didn't make millions, but I was the making moves, and sometimes he was one setting the deck up....and he was sick at it....bottoms, seconds, he even knew how to read a player to set it up where they didn't see it coming.  I told my brother if you get into a big game you better be strapped cuz even catches you, your dead!  He laughed like always....But eventually my brother became a con-artist, for example- My bro pulled off the craziest shit, you would only see in movies.

So I'm going to pick up my brother from Hotel....and i find he lied and said he was a manager and I walked and he told the bartender to pour another round of shots....I go back to my brothers Hotel room and its completely trashed he's been there for 3 days....The reason my brother had to do this was because he had survive....

Another thing he would always be getting free movies, free whatever, because he knew how to manipulate people like everyone was just a fucking card in the deck.

Let me talk about the ride, the infintiti g35 he basically heisted with bad check in my name. we headed to Vegas in the hottest car any 2 young kids could imagine to ride in.  But as we were heading to Vegas, I got a little scared because he writing hot checks all over the place.  So I go back to Kansas City and I get phone call from the dealership asking where there 10 grand is at.  I tell him i dont know my bro has the car.  The repo guy tells me the FBI is at the dealership and i got 4 years in prison 200,000 dollar bond on my head, my bro's got 2 years 100,000 bond on his head if i dont get the car back to the dealership in like 2-3 days or the money. Well im still this article so neither brother or go to jail....he got the car back at the motherfucking second....after I tried downing a bunch of pills because would have rather been dead than in prison some crap I didn't want to get involved with.

Lets get back to cards....that was just a little of what my brother caused me and put his life in jeopardy...
I think article should be rephrased call it 2 players in the game of life and how cards made them who they are.

Honestly I don't know what say after that traumatizing expierence

The number one Illusion in Online Play

The NUMBER ONE ILLUSION in the game itself; that you must avoid;

1.  When you have that certain feeling when you enter a pot with a shitty hand with like 2-4 other players before the flop and the pot is growing inside your mind like "damn is wish upon a star i could hit this hand and make alot of money" the end result in calling an all in with shitty hand is you leaving the tournament real early, and it could happen at any stage but usually it happens at the beginning.  WATCH OUT FOR THE DEVIL TO TRAP YOU AND SEND YOU TO HELL WITH ANOTHER LOSS!

I wouldn't read this, but if you do, it might cost you! lol
